My husband and I are curently serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Mormon). We are serving in Paris, France at the LDS Institute Outreach Center just around the corner from the Georges Pompidou Art Center in the center of Paris. We are working with young single adults, overseeing institute activities, religion classes, and working with the young Elder and Sister missionaries. The institute building also serves as a meetinghouse for the LDS Church. It was built in 1624. We are living in a small apartment in a suburb of Paris called Saint Cloud (San Cloo), and we are about 45 minutes by train to the institute.
We are serving from July 24, 2009 to February 2011. After we come home, I will be returning to painting and teaching pastel classes. Hopefully, I will be able to do a little painting in Paris during my time off from our duties. I will also be seeing some of the sights, especially the art museums. (Talk about a dream mission!)
Please check back! I will update my website periodically when I return and resume selling my paintings and prints. I will not have any work at Art At The Main Gallery while I am gone, but will return to the gallery when we come back.
Also, please feel free to contact me in the meantime--I will have my email and will answer all inquiries as soon as possible. Thank you for your support!
